He wanted to shoot two separate cameras at the same time from two different angles capturing the strobe setup we were to build on the day of. I have done this with 35mm cameras and more specifically Nikon due to the consistent shutter lag time they have. Mr, Dayan wanted to use the Phase one XF system, a beautiful state of the art well built camera. I began testing the setup for two weeks knowing that the mechanics of the larger cameras were slower and would be tricky to time correctly to achieve the goal. We balanced the ratios of the brightness of the projections with the camera strobes in order to have the shots all in one.
